Shade55 - All-American Denim

Asked to generate breakthrough success in a famously crowded market, we saw immediately that Shade55 boasts an irresistible USP: top-quality designer men's denim that is sourced and produced 100% in the U.S. We drove new market identification and recommended a key strategic pivot in their business plan, and rebranded to build an emotional resonance with a new generation of consumers who yearn to take pride in where and how their clothing is made.

Building on that success, consumer-focused UX design defined the development of a custom-built e-commerce website — giving passionate advocates the option to learn more and develop a deeper connection with the brand on a level that would not be possible with any "out-of-the-box" e-commerce package.

Drawing on competitive analysis and deep market insight, content development, promotions and profile management drove breakthrough success online and off for this visionary new brand.

Hilton Garden Inn competes in a very large and highly competitive hotel arena.

My team set about finding an insight to help make HGI apart from the vast crowd of rooms available to today's traveler. What we found was a little-known truth: traveling for business can be a very positive experience. Guests actually relish the opportunity to meet new people, see new people, see new places, try new foods. So we used a unique positioning that centers around discovery, connection, and finally the moment when you get to breathe at the end of the day.

Tired of making the trip all the way to a bar or club only to find out that a) the crowd is dead, b) the music is lame, c) the drinks are too expensive or d) all of the above?

Ninghtlife Ninja was the answer. Our client asked us to create an app that will provide the most up-to-date information on the club scene, crowdsourced through a clan of highly skilled, highly secretive ninjas. Nightlife Ninja's fast-moving, non-biased ratings will give party-goers a clear picture of what the club is like—before even stepping out of the house.
