One of the top fashion schools in the United States, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) was facing a unique challenge: They had a list of thousands of emails dating back from the last five years and no other information to supplement it.
I led the brainstorming session and our team came up with a two pronged solution that not only got people (who at one point may have be interested in an education at FIDM) to respond, but reignited their passion for a career in fashion. We teamed up with FIDM to offer a priceless opportunity to meet with Nick Verreos, star of the hit TV show Project Runway, and VIP seats to FIDM's DEBUT Runway Show, the university's highlight event.
We sent out a series of eblasts that led users to a dynamically branded landing page that captured the users' data in the form fill. The end result was not just a cleaned database, but thousands of leads for FIDM and a new generation of designers whose passion for design was reignited.
